Virginia Beach, VA - Regent University Track and Field standout Senior Kevin Cropper (Oak Hall, VA) has been named to the 2026 VaSID All-State College Division Men's Indoor Track & Field Second Team. This latest honor caps off a strong senior campaign for the multi-event athlete.
During the 2025-26 season, Cropper continued to rewrite the record books for the Royals. As a Senior, he set a new school record in the Triple Jump with a distance of 13.91m, which ranked first in the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C), in addition to owning the School Records in the Long Jump and High Jump. He also became the School's first ever Conference Champion, winning the Indoor High Jump event at the C2C Championships this season. In addition, Cropper earned multiple weekly accolades, including back-to-back C2C Men's Field Athlete of the Week honors in January 2026.
A Psychology major with a minor in Health Sciences and a team captain, Cropper has been a cornerstone of Regent Athletics. Over his career, he has set multiple school records (high jump, long jump, and triple jump), earned NCCAA All-American honors, and previously received VaSID First Team All-State recognition. He was also named this years' 2026 Regent Male Athlete of the Year.
"Kevin's dedication, work ethic, and competitive spirit have defined his time as a Royal," said Regent University Track & Field Head Coach, Michael Rose. "Earning VaSID All-State honors again in his senior year is a fitting tribute to his recording-breaking career".
VaSID recognizes top performers across Virginia's college and university divisions annually. Cropper's selection underscores his place among the state's elite field event athletes.
