Virginia Beach, VA – On Wednesday, the Coast-To-Coast Conference (C2C) officially released its pre-season Men's Soccer rankings for the upcoming 2025 season. Regent University makes their first ever appearance in the polls coming in at #6 out of the seven conference members.
New Head Coach Jared Welsh takes over a Royals program that is entering its first year as members of the NCAA and C2C. Regent is returning a strong core led by Goalkeeper Junior Conner Henriques (Spotsylvania, VA), and Senior Midfielders Drew Thomas (Lynchburg, VA) and Graylan Gill (Hanover, VA). Last season the Royals were ranked in the NCCAA Top 20 nationally in points and goals and #25 overall in shots. They also had the 6th highest goal production nationally in a win over Mid-Atlantic Christian University. In addition to their DIII slate of games, Regent will also travel to DI Liberty University and Old Dominion University.
The Royals will open up the season on August 21st in Lynchburg, VA when they face Liberty University.
