Virginia Beach, VA – The Regent University Men's Soccer team has officially released its 2026 schedule which features a number of first-time opponents.  Head Coach Jared Welsh enters his second season with the Royals and has brought in the largest recruiting class in program history to go along with a number of returners who saw a significant amount of playing time last year.  Regent will enter its second season in the NCAA and will look to qualify for its first ever conference tournament. 

The Royals will kick-off their 2026 campaign on the road, in Lexington, VA, with a scrimmage against VMI on August 22nd and then another scrimmage at home on August 27th with Mid-Atlantic Christian University, which will be followed by six straight road games against Hampden-Sydney College on September 1st, Neumann University on September 4th, Widener University on September 5th, North Carolina Wesleyan University on September 10th, Randolph College on September 12th and Mary Baldwin University on September 16th.  

On September 19th, Regent will welcome in Greensboro College for their home opener before hitting the road with match-ups at Methodist University (September 22nd), William Peace University (September 26th), Marymount University (September 30th) and Christopher Newport University (October  10th) before returning home for a three-game home stand with Southern Virginia University on October 14th, Warren Wilson College on October 17th and Salisbury University on October 21st. The Royals will close out their road slate with a pair of games at Lancaster Bible College (October 25th) and Mary Washington University (October 27th) before concluding the regular season at home against Johnson & Wales University on October 31st.  

The Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference Tournament will take place November 6th – 8th at Salisbury, University in Maryland.
